Gamepedia wasn’t created in a boardroom or backed by a large investment. It began with a simple challenge that many gamers can relate to.
Around four years ago, our founder was just a 14-year-old gamer who wanted a new PlayStation controller but couldn’t afford one. Instead of giving up, he sold his Logitech G920 racing wheel at a profit, bought another wheel, and still had enough left to purchase the controller he had been saving for.
That experience sparked an idea.
Gaming shouldn’t be complicated, overpriced, or limited by a lack of trustworthy sellers. There should be a place where gamers can buy with confidence, receive honest advice, and feel like they’re dealing with fellow gamers—not just another shop.
Two years later, that idea became Gamepedia.
